Martijn Beukers is a specialist in veterinary imaging who graduated from the University of Utrecht. Following his studies, he worked at a referral clinic in the southern Netherlands, where he discovered his passion for diagnostic imaging. He later returned to Utrecht University to complete a residency and, in 2013, became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.
Following ten years of professional experience in the Imaging Department at Utrecht University, Martijn founded FOCUS Veterinary Imaging. Today, he primarily provides clinical services for two Evidensia referral hospitals. Alongside his clinical work, he is an enthusiastic educator, supporting veterinary professionals who wish to expand their expertise in diagnostic imaging. His research interests focus mainly on MRI.
Outside of work, Martijn enjoys cooking and painting.
