Angie Lloyd-Jones

Angie Lloyd-Jones DCR DMU
Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Medical & Small Animal Ultrasound

Angie brings over 35 years of clinical ultrasound expertise, beginning her career as a diagnostic radiographer before specialising in ultrasound in the early 1990s. She held senior clinical and management roles in prominent NHS hospitals across the UK.

She has trained a wide range of healthcare professionals and lectured on accredited ultrasound programmes. In 2013, Angie moved into the private sector as Head of Ultrasound for a national imaging provider, gaining advanced business and leadership experience.

Recognising a training gap in veterinary ultrasound, she shifted focus to the veterinary field, co-authoring the BMUS Small Animal Veterinary Guidelines in 2022-now a globally recognised standard.

As founder of Aspire UCS, Angie has mentored over a thousand veterinary clinicians and veterinary nurses, developed the ‘Lillie’ Canine Phantom Training Kit, and continues to pioneer innovative learning methods to elevate ultrasound practice in veterinary medicine.

Her mission is to build confidence and competence in vets and vet nurses, blending medical excellence with veterinary-focused training
